“Brewery Closes for a Metamorphosis”

1933 Brewing Company Closes Its Doors For A Metamorphosis

Fort Collins, Colorado–December 16, 2016

1933 Brewing Company in Fort Collins, Colorado, will close on Saturday, December 31, 2016.

They opened in March 2014 as the 12th craft brewery in the area. The brewery has developed quite the local following in their midtown taproom, and regularly boasts something new on tap – including their famous Chili Beer and newest brew to be released on Wednesday,

December 21, a stout made with LaMar’s Donuts and Woodchip Fire Roasted Coffee.

The brewery specializes in signature brews and blends that are hard to find anywhere else. Head Brewer Zach Wilson, and Marketing Coordinator Laura Sickles, are purchasing the brewery from 1933 Brewing Company owner, Cody Pisacka, and are changing the concept of the brewery, quite significantly, to focus more on their personal passions and dreams. “Zach and Laura have some great ideas in store, and I think this will create a lot of excitement in the area. The brewery has been very special to me, and I appreciate the love and support throughout the years from my customers and employees,” 1933 Brewing Company owner Cody Pisacka stated.

Both Wilson and Sickles are extremely thankful for the opportunity to purchase 1933 Brewing Company and start their own venture, and they could not have done it without the amazing help and support of their employees, the current owner, and their investment partners.  “The hardest part for me, in the closing of 1933 Brewing Company, will be not seeing our regular customers day to day.  We have the most loyal regulars who have been with us since the day we opened. Our patrons are all awesome and we are grateful to call them friends, in fact, we consider them family,” says 1933 Brewing Company’s Marketing Coordinator Laura Sickles.

“It’s been such a privilege to have had the experiences I have had in the craft beer industry, to have worked with such inspiring people, and to have learned something unique in each moment we have shared together.  This is just the first step of many steps yet to come, cultivating something that expresses who I am, a culmination of a lifelong dream, a dream worth stepping up to,” says 1933 Brewing Company’s Head Brewer Zach Wilson.

If you want to try 1933 Brewing Company’s brews before they close, visit them inside the taproom located at 4025 South Mason Street, Fort Collins, Colorado. Also, join them as they celebrate new beginnings and the legacy of 1933 Brewing Company on Saturday, December 31, from 2 pm – 6 pm, in the taproom.

In the meantime, stay tuned to the 1933 Brewing Company’s Website (www.1933brewing.com), Facebook, Instagram (#1933brewing) and Twitter (@1933brewing) pages for up-to-date information on the metamorphosis!
